My gorgeous little cherub is Ella who is nearly 6 months old. She keeps me on my toes for sure, but never fails to make me smile.
This blog is named after my wonderful pooch, who happens to be an apricot (ginger!) miniature poodle. I rehomed Brandy in 2003 when she was around 6 month old. She is the first dog I ever owned and we have grown and been through so much together.. She may be getting grumpy in her old age but she certainly is a special lady. As well as Brandy, we have a black miniature poodle and a Bichon Frise. Never a dull (or quiet) moment in our household.
I would call myself a beginner crafter. My mother is a fantastic knitter and over the last few years she had started to sew. Since I've been on maternity leave she has been encouraging me to make bits and pieces. I learnt to knit as a child and have made the odd scarf etc every couple of years. My mum brought me a sewing machine about 10 years ago. I never used it and it just gathered dust in a spare room, however recently my mum has been having lessons and passed on a few hints and tips. I make many mistakes and as I get bored easily I have a lot of 'work in progress'.
